The IT Physical™ is often offered as a precursor to The eSolve Office™, since it is necessary to solve existing IT problems before next generation online project collaboration solutions can be introduced.

Typical high-risk problems and issues found and addressed are inadequate backups of business data, viruses and improper antivirus protection, inadequate memory and storage, improper security setups including wireless, out-of-date patches, software licensing issues, network bandwidth problems, improper network cabling and configuration, and printing problems.

Typical Systems Evaluated

  • Desktop, laptops, and servers (if available) – A complete analysis is performed to insure that all devices have adequate memory, disk space, up-to-date antivirus and spyware protection, proper licensing of software, proper hardware setup, up-to-date patches, and proper security settings. Recommendations are also made with respect to life cycle and usability for particular applications.
  • Network – Wired and wireless networks are evaluated with respect to security, performance, and proper hardware setup and configuration. Devices such as routers, switches, cable modems, and Vonage™ routers as evaluated with respect to proper setup, configuration and performance. Network wiring is also evaluated for proper setup.
  • Peripherals – Printers, scanners, USB devices, and other direct and network-attached devices are evaluated for proper setup and configuration.
